Character name: Xehanort (Young)
Character age as of canon point (As best as is known): 16
Canon format (Anime, manga, video game, live action TV, novel, web comic, etc.): video game
Name of canon: Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road, Kingdom Hearts
Canon point: Xehanort is coming from the point after he completed the mission Master Odin sends him, Eraqus, and the other keyblade students out to find the missing upper classmen who disappeared from their mark of mastery exam.
Is the canon point more than 6 months old in the US as far as you know?: Yes
If not, as best you know it, US release date of the canon point: June 22, 2020
Completely optional history and personality section. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO SKIP THIS!: Xehanort started his life on the isolated world of destiny islands. While his world was small, his dreams were big, filled with faceless friends that he could never properly remember when he woke up. These were friends that he had never met in life, not that he could remember anyway, but they left a deep impact on his heart regardless. He was filled with desire to find the truth of these foggy dreams, as well as to leave the confines of the islands that were becoming more and more confining by the day. One day a mysterious cloaked figured appeared. This figure addressed Xehanort as their “way point” and opened a portal to let him travel to other words to unlock his true destiny. Xehanort, intrigued by this person’s statements, a hope to solve his dreams, and break out of this claustrophobic island life. The portal lands him in the world of Scala ad Caelum. Over the years there he makes new friends, particularly a plucky lad named Eraqus, and becomes a keyblade master. He his well known to his peers for his strategic planning and cunning mind, as well as a curiosity for the forces of light and dark and does not know bounds, for good or for ill.
Please list and explain the three worst (morally) things your character has ever done:
1. Xehanort in his obsession to acquire the x-blads he took advantage of a young student, named Ventus, under his care. He used Ventus as an experiment and pushed him to the point that he broke Ventus’s heart in two, drawing the darkness out of the boy and splitting his heart permanently, then dumping him for dead on Destiny Islands. He only brings him back when Ventus surprisingly moves and is able to summon his Keyblade, giving him another idea to use him.
2. When Xehanort and his friend Eraqus get into an argument over Xehanort’s obsession with the x-blade, he does not listen to reason. In fact he ended up attacking his friend with darkness, scarring Eraqus’s face in the process.
3. Xehanort manipulates Terra to fall to darkness so that he can use him as a younger vessel of darkness for his own ends, slowly turning him against his friends and eventually taking his body for his own.
Please list and explain the three best (morally) things your character has ever done.:
1. Xehanort helps to return the rose that the upper classmen stole from Beast in his castle, helping to preserve that world’s order.
2. Xehanort’s desire to become a keyblade master is to reunite with the friends in his dreams. He does not forget that no matter how far in his journey he goes.
3. Despite his curiosity on his journey about the nature of darkness, he does not forget his mission to find the upper classmen and to maintain the orders of different worlds.
Please put the six things above on a timeline relevant to each other:
1. Xehanort’s desire to become a keyblade master is to reunite with the friends in his dreams. He does not forget that no matter how far in his journey he goes.
2. Despite his curiosity on his journey about the nature of darkness, he does not forget his mission to find the upper classmen and to maintain the orders of different worlds.

Do you consider your character a hero, an anti-hero, a good aligned side kick, a bystander, a victim, a fence sitter, a mercenary, an evil aligned side kick, a villain, or something else? Why?: Xehanort is an anti hero at a crossroads, or perhaps a villain already made. The whole time travel things make things difficult to know. Xehanort at the start of his journey for dark road just wants to travel other worlds, to find answers to his questions, and to find the truth of his mysterious friends. He certainly doesn’t shy away from darker patterns or the consideration of their merit, but has not done anything negative yet. However, in the future where he marks himself as a vessel of darkness and works to bring about the x-blade, he had done many things worthy of censure, before being defeated and returned to that same starting potential point with no memory or knowledge of what he’s done. At the time of his canon point, he is just an anti hero. I will leave it to GM discretion if the crimes from his time loop apply to him, even if he is not aware of them or technically hasn’t done them yet.
Do you think your character should start on the Isle or in Auradon? Why?: Xehanort could start in either location. Explanation for each below:
Isle: There is no telling how many times Xehanort has completed the time loop that keeps dropping him back on Destiny islands, but the time loops have occurred. During those loops he led others to darkness, corrupted hearts, and took actions that probably led to the destruction of worlds and untold lives. While he has been reset to a point before those actions occurred, technically he already has done them and there is a debt to be paid for them. Having Xeheanort have to pay penance for the crimes he technically WILL/HAS commit, but has no knowledge of could be a fun formative time for him.
Auradon: Xehanort is a keblade master who has done well in his classes, does believe in the world order, and is trying to reunite with the friends of his heart. He has not fallen to darkness yet, but he sees no reason to fear it. Putting him in Auradon before he has fully committed to the dark road of his future could be an interesting turning point for him, giving him a chance to right the wrongs he has not yet committed/committed in a future timeline.
Which of those two would you prefer your character to start in?: I would like Xehanort to start in whichever place seems most interesting to the GMs. There are fun arguments for both spots.
Are you still interested in having this character in this game at this time if that preference is not met?: I am fine with whatever decision the GMs make.
Powers and Abilities: Xehanort his a keyblade master and possesses the ability to summon or dismiss a keyblade at will. This blade can lock and unlock things both mundane (doors, chests, padlocks) and ephemeral (hearts, worlds, passageways). The keyblade can also summon keyblade armor to wear on his person. Usually it could summon a keyblade glider that could fly and move between worlds, but he probably lost access to this when he came to this world. He is also very talented in magic of all kinds, but specialized in time magic. He is able to use his time magic to manipulate the flow of battle, either speeding himself up while slowing or temporarily stopping his opponents. He is also adept at elemental magic and teleportation around the battlefield (not across great distances just battlefield range).
What clothing/items did your character arrive with? (See rules and FAQ for what is allowed, feel free to ask if you are unsure): Xehanort possesses his Scala ad Caelum Uniform and his keyblade, No Name. He also possesses his wayfinder that he shares with Eraqus.

Optional- What do you have to keep in mind when playing this character?: Xehanort is a naturally cunning individual. He needs to be thinking strategically and always curious about finding new knowledge, even if it pushes boundaries. Xehanort is on the side of good for now, but he always has the potential to go too far if he received the wrong stimulus.
What mod candy, if any, does your character bring? (Aka what elements would you really like to see us play with?): Xehanort brings a lot of mod candy with his future actions in the timeline. While he has not committed anything evil yet, he has, unknown to himself, been stuck in a time loop where he has committed grave things. Playing with this technically uncommitted crimes would be fun, as well as Xehanort’s unbridled curiosity for other worlds and lack of boundaries for what should and should not be researched.
What else do you think the mods should know about your character or their canon?: I know that Chicklet is very comfortable with Kingdom Hearts canon so I think we’re good XD.
Any questions?: None.
